Livestock Production
Lucerne is the backbone of our business. It offers our business the versatility of livestock production. We run 5000 breeding ewes, with an equal split between first cross and merinos. We are able to utilise lucerne as a pasture for our sheep throughout the year because of the different levels of winter activity that lucerne has to offer.
We pride ourselves in offering the first new season lambs into the winter market as suckers, as well as producing heavy trade and export lambs. We market our lambs through the Central West Livestock Exchange at Forbes, which is the second largest sheep selling centre in NSW. We also sell through contracts straight out of the paddock when the opportunity exists.
Green Partnership’s breeding program utilises AI from specially selected blood lines to improve our genetic pool, along with our own purpose grown rams.
Our aim is to produce a dual-purpose merino sheep that can yield a heavier fine wool fleece, is fast growing with a large frame that mothers a high muscle score lamb. We aim to deliver these merino prime lambs for sale at earlier age.

Our company has been dealing with the Green Family over the past 10 years. The Green Family’s reputation for producing quality products is second to none. The livestock that comes off the Green family farms always attracts a premium whether it be from major Supermarkets, High End Butchers or Export Markets. The Green Family run an operation that strives for excellence. We wish the Green family and all involved in Green Partnership all the best into the future.
